We must therefore give everyone every opportunity to grow into a top athlete. Especially if they have the potential for medals at the Olympics, Paralympics or World Games. Because not every top athlete gets the same opportunities for good preparation, especially as some smaller sports get less attention and are difficult to get media coverage. With a little extra support, we give everyone more opportunities for top international sporting performances.

Alderman for Sport Peter Wouters, together with vzw Wapper, is organising the fifth edition of the 'Give to Antwerp Talent' benefit dinner on Thursday 27 June. Those who have attended before know that this is an unforgettable not-to-be-missed event and networking evening. With as its highlight, the now traditional auction of sporting masterpieces and memorabilia.

Five top talents seek your support and for the first time, we also select a team for this fundraiser:

1.    The Antwerp Wheelblazers (Wheelchair hockey).
2.    Arno Van Praet (Boccia). 
3.    Daniël Dardha (Chess).
4.    Camine Van Hoof (Breakdance).
5.    Christian Iguacel (Athletics).
6.    Alexander Blockx (Tennis).
